Competition Comment: If you speak in first person, that means you created a column — not a feature. Do not speak in first person if you are putting together a feature. A feature is about a person, place, thing, event or moment. It is not about you. As well, you need to open it up by creating a scene. You need to have the reader feel as if they are there experiencing something important and personal. Some of y'all have talent, some show potential and others really need to hone their skills if they want to continue in the world of journalism.
