Judge Comment: Informative, great lede and it made me angry for your university thinking those three degrees aren't important.
- Competition Comment: Y'all. Like, come on. What are these ledes???? A lede should be one sentence — maybe two. A graf in the world of journalism is one or two sentences, not an essay paragraph. And what was with that horse story? Was it a column? Why would you put yourself into the story? Also, have more than one voice in your stories. That Care Center story could've been better if you included students who use the program. As well, if you didn't include your entire story in the submission, it received a 1. I'm not scouring online to read your story.
