The menu navigation on desktop is striking--hovering over each section vertical gave a quick look at the 5 most recent stories with lead photo and headline. Transitioning to viewing the site on mobile, the site still remains eye catching with strong visuals. Section pages are easy to navigate and render well on desktop and mobile. The Latest Stories ticker along the top of the site on desktop was also a nice little treat, but making it a little more distinct from the white text on blue of the header might make it more striking/eye-catching.
