It's vague enough work with the written component. Ideally, a photo illustration would be so overtly unreal that it couldn't be mistaken for a real moment. This doesn't achieve that.

Competition Comment: Photo illustrations need to be overtly unrealistic to avoid confusion with traditional photojournalism. It should not be used in place where traditional photography could tell the story. Some of the illustrative images in these entries don't quite rise to that threshold. Some of the simplest pieces are the ones that best achieve the idea of how to use a photo illustration.
