Judge Comment: WELL DONE! I liked this story. Your reporter track sounded great, your interviews and b-rolled looked great. This was solid. My only suggestion, since this is a feature piece on this teen, tell us more about him. I felt like I didn't really know him by the end of it, and I feel like that would allow the viewer to understand why community members helping him out is so significant. (You can write about a disability or a struggle someone has in a sensitive way, or you can just talk more about who they are.)

Judge Comment: I actually really liked this story. I thought you did a great job on it. As far as storytelling goes, it would have been fun and engaging to tell the story through one of the characters the actors were dressed up as to really showcase their voice and perspective since that is what the event was all about. (That's just one idea, there are of course many creative ways to tell each story.)

Judge Comment: The video on this story looked really good and you did a nice job. On your reporter track it sounded a little echo-y, so be careful where you are recording your reporter track. If you don't have a quiet space or an audio booth, tracking in a closet or even with a jacket over your head and mic can help.

Judge Comment: This was a good start. Since it looked like you likely filmed this on a Iphone (which is fine) just be aware of the shots and the quality of the video. At least one clip looked like it was in slo-mo, others looked glitchy almost. A few were blurry once you zoomed in. When shooting on your phone, either get closer to the object and film a cutaway or keep the shot wide. (Try not to zoom as much because it can easily get pixelated.) Also, try getting a cheap mic you can plug into your phone, it will help reduce the NAT sound on the interview.
